A DoctorAccess scenario
Jenny, our fourth-year dental student, likes to be prepared. The evening before her clinic appointments, she opens DoctorAccess, and sees an urgent message indicator on the menu bar. She taps the urgent message indicator that takes her directly to the Urgent message list (see View messages).
The message is from one of her patients, who has some questions about the following day's appointment procedure. After replying to the message (see Reply to a message),she taps the Scheduler module to view the appointments and procedures she'll be performing (see ).
When she taps her first appointment, she sees the treatment details (see ) and also reads the appointment note.
To make sure she knows about her patient, including any patient alerts, she views the patient's details (see ). Now she has a good picture of her patient's needs and about the treatments she'll be performing. There are more appointments to view for the day. As a busy student, she needs to see her clinic time exception pertaining to her afternoon lecture. Jenny remembers that she needs to add a lecture to her schedule (see ).
To be super organized, Jenny scrolls through her list of appointments for the rest of the week (see ). She notices that an appointment later in the week requires one of her patients to bring along a list of current medications, so she taps the Messenger module to send her patient a reminder (see Compose a message). Now Jenny is prepared!
